Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition and Advancing Research on Climate Intervention Technnologies
Who we are
Sinergia is the Research Group on Sustainable Innovation and Renewable Energies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). Our team is composed of faculty and researchers from the Graduate Program in Production Engineering,* as well as collaborators from institutions in Brazil and abroad. We are dedicated to studying the major global shifts of our time: the energy transition toward renewables and the sustainability transition toward clean technologies and the emerging field of climate intervention. Our research aims to accelerate these processes by analyzing current techno-economic paradigms and proposing innovative solutions and policies.
