Green Hydrogen

“Green Hydrogen is a promising energy source for both, the electric grid and transportation.”

Hydrogen is considered by many as the ‘silver bullet’ for energy and transport use in the coming decades. It is particularly important for energy security, industrial development, renewable energy deployment and industrial decarbonization.

While many developed countries have published hydrogen roadmaps and included prominent incentive packages, the promise of hydrogen-based energy is even more important for developing countries that are struggling between economic catching-up and cleaner energy mix such as China and Brazil

Given this context, several research questions arise, out of which we are particularly interested in mapping out the main barriers for the growth of green hydrogen hubs in Brazil.
